A rare treasure amidst New York City’s bustle, the New Leaf Restaurant & Bar is the perfect destination to host a romantic wedding, a successful corporate event or an intimate private party celebrating a milestone occassion or holiday. In addition, hosting your special “green” event at the New Leaf takes on even more meaning as net proceeds from the restaurant help support the non-profit New York Restoration Project (NYRP) and its restoration and maintanence of community gardens and City parks across the five boroughs.

Located in the heart of Fort Tryon Park, just steps away from stunning views of the Hudson River and The Cloisters museum & gardens, the New Leaf is a unique setting for a special gathering in any season. With a cobblestone exterior, slate roof and granite archways, the New Leaf emanates the charm of a rustic inn, embodied by a dining room featuring massive oak trusses supporting an 18-foot-hign dark wood ceiling above a terrazzo floor.

With ample free parking, the New Leaf can accommodate seating for up to 50 guests in the dining room alone and up to 150 people when our dining room and outdoor garden patio are combined, providing more than adequate dance floor space for special occasions. Several packages are available to fit a variety of needs and can be customized to best suit your needs and budget, making the New Leaf not only an exquisite and highly unique setting for your special event, but among the most affordable of its class in New York City.

For cocktail parties or more intimate events, the bar area can accommodate up to 40 people, or 24 seated. Hors d’ oeuvre, classic cocktails and a wide range of premium beer and wine can be served to your guests. We can also provide buffets of local fruit, cheese and breads.

The New Leaf staff works exceedingly hard to accommodate our guests. Our event managers take the time to learn about your specific requests – providing highly personalized service and helping to plan an event that meets your every need. Our staff works closely with select neighborhood businesses to provide service options, including event planners, flowers and photography, among others – using our extensive experience to make your event as easy and enjoyable as possible.
